3 Questioned For Fake FACT Tickets
Police are also trying to determine whether the three also sold fake tickets to spectators outside the Vodafone Prince Charles Park at a much cheaper price.
The three were identified by the employees of Fiji Football Association and were handed to the security who then informed police.
Police also managed to confiscate some fake tickets from the ticket booth and also from the three suspects.
Meanwhile, police are questioning a man who allegedly robbed a taxi driver with two others in Colo-I-Suva yesterday.
Assistant Spokesperson, Atunaisa Sokomuri has confirmed that the three hired the taxi from Suva City and upon reaching Colo-I-Suva, the three robbed the driver and tied him up before throwing him in the bushes.
The driver managed to untie himself and reported the matter to police. A police patrol car gave chase and arrested one of the three robbers in Walu Bay. Upon checking police also managed to recover some of the stolen cash which was kept in his undergarments.
He is expected to appear in the Suva Magistrates court today.
