Three Police officers have been assaulted over the last five days and the Police Force is now warning members of the public not to cross the line and threaten the safety of the officers.
A Police officer was assaulted on the island of Taveuni yesterday as he was attending to a report.
He managed to overpower the suspect later who is now in custody.
Two female officers were also assaulted in Cunningham last week as they tried to control a suspect who was drunk and unruly.
However they managed to take the suspect to the Nabua Police Station.
