Police have arrested and charged 3 people of Nakasi with 10 counts of Forgery for allegedly producing fake notes.
Divisional Crime Officer Eastern, ASP Keshri Lal confirms that the three will also appear in the Nausori Magistrates court later today.
Police upon receiving information, raided the house of one of the suspects and confiscated ten $50 dollar fake notes. Police also managed to recover equipment used to make the counterfeit notes.
The three are in police custody.
