3 More Charged With BP Service Station Heist
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Corporal Suliano Tevita says the three have been charged with robbery with violence and will be appearing in court tomorrow.
The three were arrested by Police Ready Action group yesterday morning in a village near Nabua.
Three others, 20 year old Timoci Serekalou, 27 year old Jemesa Levuka and 26 year old Jone Togamadanawa appeared in court yesterday. The six are allegedly to have stormed into the service station with cane knives and beer bottles and after threatening the cashier they walked away with $698.77 in cash and $85 worth of assorted items.
The six will appear in the Suva Magistrate Court again on Thursday morning.
Meanwhile, the post mortem of a local fisherman is currently underway who was stabbed to death over the weekend in a Chinese fishing vessel while Police are still questioning the Asian National for allegedly stabbing the local fisherman to death through an interpreter.
It is alleged the Asian national stabbed the local fisherman with a kitchen knife after an argument.
