It has been confirmed that three of the five external examinations from Fiji's education system will be abolished by 2011.
Education Minister, Filipe Bole said the Fiji Intermediate Examination will be abolished by next year while the Fiji Eighth Year and Fiji Junior Certificate Examination will be abolished by 2011.
Bole said one of the reasons they have decided to do this is to decrease the number of school dropouts.
