Three evacuations Centre’s are still open in the Rewa Delta area.
The Acting Commissioner Central Eliki Malodali said the 33 people in these centres cannot go to their homes as the houses are in deplorable conditions.
He said many houses in the Vutia, Burebasaga and Waivou areas are without roofs, windows and doors.
He said they are currently conducting a survey to see which families need urgent assistance.
Meanwhile, DISMAC said all evacuation centre’s in the Western Division are closed however they are still assessing the damages in various areas before deciding on the assistance given to Cyclone Gene victims.
