A total of 284 traffic infringements was recorded over the weekend.
Police have revealed that the highest was from over speeding with a total of 241 cases recorded.
Others were from careless driving, not wearing seat belts, driving without a Driver’s license, illegal operation and excess passengers.
There was also a total of 12 arrest made in relation to drinking and driving, whereby one was from the southern division, one from the eastern division and 12 from the west.
