A 28 year old man is in police custody for allegedly trying to drive over a group of women after a drinking party in Wailoku on Monday night.
Samabula Police have confirmed that the man was drinking with the group and after they finished drinking an argument developed.
It is alleged that the man got into his car and drove straight into the group of women, who had to jump into a nearby drain to save themselves.
He is expected to be charged later today.
