28 Australian based rugby league players turned out at a meeting with the Vodafon Fiji Bati Assistant Coach Joe Dakuitoga and Manager Mesake Navugona.
As the Vodafone Fiji Bati management team prepares for the Rugby League World Cup in England, the target has been set that they should better their 2008 result where the Vodafone Fiji Bati reached the semifinal.
Speaking from Australia to Fijivillage, manager Mesake Navugona said they were impressed with the big turnout as it shows the level of interest from the players.
Meanwhile, West Tigers winger Taqele Naiyarovaro is injured and has been given one month to recover.
The final Vodafone Fiji Bati squad will be named after the Battle of the Bati which will be held at the 20th of next month at the ANZ Stadium.
