A total of 275 vehicles have been impounded by the Land Transport Authority since their operation to crackdown on illegal operators started two weeks ago.
Spokesperson Eroni Volavola said the Western Division has recorded the highest number of vehicles impounded which is 159, followed by 52 in the Southern Division, 44 in the Eastern Division and 20 in the Northern Division.
He also said the drivers could lose their license if they continue to be involved in illegal operations.
