27 new Legal Practitioners were admitted to the Bar today before the Presiding Chief Justice, Justice Anthony Gates, family members and friends.
While addressing them today, Justice Gates reminded them that they have joined a noble profession, which means amongst many considerations, they should be fair towards their opponents and their clients. Justice Gates said they must never deceive the court or be guilty of intellectual dishonesty.
Gates adds that Frankness will make mitigation excellent in any case.
Meanwhile one of the lawyers, 23 year old Pita Rigamoto dedicated his achievements today to his late mother, Pauline Rigamoto the late wife of the former Supervisor of Elections, Walter Rigamoto.
