Police have charged a 25-year-old man with a count of robbery with violence after he robbed a 28-year-old Company Manager of $38 yesterday at midday in Suva.
The Assistant Police PRO Corporal Suliano Tevita said the man was walking along Usher Street when he was allegedly assaulted and robbed by the suspect who was arrested by police on patrol.
The man was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries. The alleged robber will appear in court tomorrow.
