Police have arrested and charged a 25 year old Electrician of Valelevu for allegedly raping a 15 year old student yesterday.
Assistant Spokesperson, Corporal Josaia Weicavu has confirmed that the victim who is a form 3 student was doing her homework alone at home when the Electrician who lives nearby entered the house and allegedly raped her.
The victim's aunt who was returning from work came to the house and saw the victim lying unconscious on the bed.
She then reported the matter to police.
The Electrician will appear in the Nasinu Magistrates court later today.
