25 overseas crews are on their way into the country to compete in next week's South Pacific Hobbie Championships.
Event Co-ordinator, Graham Southwick said amongst those coming are re-knowned world champions and this will give local sailors a chance at exposure.
Majority of the crews taking part are from Australia with 5 local crews compromising of teams from Raiwaqa. Some notable faces competing next week are Kerli Corlette, the World champion in the 55 and over category along with 2005 World Grand Master Champ, Bruce Tardrew.
The South Pacific Championships will be held in Suva from the 26th to the 27th of this month.
