It’s good news for members of the Fiji Public Service Association employed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji as they will receive a 2.5% COLA payment next month.
FPSA General Secretary Rajeshwar Singh confirms that an agreement was reached on their 2007 COLA claim with CAAFI through conciliation talks with the Labour Ministry that the payment be made by the last pay date in September and will be back dated to January 1st 2007.
Singh said their COLA claim was in line with the governments 3 year Industrial relations Framework which the Association had agreed to previously under the Partnership Agreement.
