A 22 year old man charged with one count of murder of a 50 year old woman appeared in Labasa court this afternoon.
He has been remanded in custody by Labasa court.
No plea has been taken yet.
The deceased's body was found on her door step on Thursday night.
Meanwhile, Police are still questioning a male and a female in relation to the alleged incident that took place in Raranikawai Labasa.
Police believe the woman was strangled as there were some injuries on the victim’s neck and other parts of the body.
The matter has been adjourned to 13th May.
