A 22 year old man has been charged with the alleged murder of a lab technician over the weekend.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri confirmed that the man from Navutu, Lautoka, has been charged with two counts of robbery with violence and murder of the 28 year old lab technician.
The lab technician's body was found in a pool of blood on Saturday afternoon inside the Drasa based lab by his wife.
Meanwhile, the police search and rescue team are looking for a 52 year old man who is missing at sea since Sunday.
According to Sergeant Sokomuri, four left for Uciwai waters on a fishing trip on a bilibili made out of polythene pipe on Sunday but three were found on Malolo Island yesterday while one is still missing.
