A 22 year old man charged with dangerous driving occasioning death has been released on bail by the Suva Magistrates court.
Shelvin Sachin Nair of Nawaka Nadi was granted bail with strict conditions and has been ordered to report to Korovou Police Station every Saturday.
It is alleged that Nair hit a 12 year old with his car at Pacific Harbour.
According to police the victim crossed the road after getting off a bus driven by her father and she was hit by the car who was trying to overtake the bus.
The girl lost her life at CWM hospital on Monday afternoon.
Plea has been deferred and the matter has been adjourned till 21st of this month.
