Nadi Police are questioning a 22yr old for allegedly robbing and raping a 74yr old elderly woman on Wednesday night.
The retired woman was alone at home when the suspect, who was armed, forcibly entered the house and threatened her.
He demanded cash and later raped her before he fled with $150 cash and other items.
Upon investigation, police managed to arrest the suspect and he is being interrogated by CID officers.
According to police there are several other cases pending against the suspect.
