As we are in the Festive Season, the Fiji Police Force is appealing on members of the public to drink moderately.
This is after a 21-year-old man was stabbed several times on his back by his drinking mates.
Assistant Police spokesperson Inspector Atu Sokomuri said that the incident happened on Thursday in Nakurokura in Nadi when a fight broke out.
He said that it is during this time that people celebrate with alcohol and this is the time to learn control.
The 21-year-old is currently in a stable condition at the Lautoka Hospital while his friends are being questioned.
