A 21-year-old farmer of Navonu Settlement, Tukavesi in Savusavu is currently in police custody after allegedly stabbing a 24-year-old student yesterday.
Police say the incident happened after 8am where the victim allegedly confronted the 21-year-old for assaulting his younger brother.
In retaliation the 21-year-old suspect then allegedly stabbed the victim twice with a kitchen knife after a heated argument.
The victim is now admitted at the Savusavu Divisional Hospital.
