Police are looking for a 21yr old man of Taveuni for allegedly hacking his brother with an axe yesterday afternoon.
Assistant Spokesperson, Sergeant Suliano Tevita said the victim who is a 23yr old was drinking beer with his younger brother when an argument developed.
It is alleged that the younger brother got hold of an axe and allegedly struck him on the back.
The victim sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the Taveuni hospital where he is currently admitted.
The suspect fled the house after the alleged incident.
