Police are concerned that twenty taxi drivers were robbed in the Southern Division last month alone.
Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said these reports of the assault and robbing of taxi drivers were received between the Nasinu and Navua police stations.
Raiwaqa police received six reports, Nabua four, Samabula three reports, Totogo four and Lami one report.
He added most taxis were hired from Suva city and robbed in different locations.
