The 2010 Western Kaji Festival will kick-off in style this morning in Nadi where more than 1,000 plus players will march through the jet-set town.
Organiser Tuirami Uluinakauvadra said the Fiji Police Band will lead the players from Nadi town to Prince Charles park as they want them to have a feeling of what they used to do overseas where they have a parade before the tournament kicks-off.
Uluinakauvadra added with 13 districts taking part which also included teams from Cakaudrove and Macuata, they hope for an entertaining 3 days of competition.
The Western Kaji rugby and netball competition starts at Prince Charles Park at 10am.
