The Auditor General's office has confirmed that the 2009 government reports will be completed by August this year.

Auditor General Tevita Volanivanua confirmed to Fijivillage News that they are currently in the process of completing all the government's reports for 2009 and they are hopeful that this will be completed by August after which the reports will be submitted to Cabinet.

Volanivanua also confirmed that the reports for 2007 and 2008 have already been submitted to cabinet.

Meanwhile the Public Accounts Committee member Taufa Vakatale said they are currently reviewing pending auditor general's reports.

The latest report released by the Committee includes those for 2006.
