The preparation for the 2008/2009 IRB World 7s Series may be delayed.
Waisale Serevi is yet to sign a contract with the Fiji Rugby Union.
The Fiji Rugby Union (FRU) is concerned with the delay in preparations as we are just 88 days away from the start of another series.
FRU stated that they cannot start with the preparations until Serevi puts pen to paper.
It is understood that FRU has now started to work on other plans, if Serevi does not agree to the new contract.
Serevi will return from England either today or tomorrow, after playing in the Nines tournament for the UK Fiji side.
The IRB will kick off their 2008 / 2009 World 7s Series with the Dubai tournament on 28th and 29th of November.
