The Bureau of Statistics has today received formal confirmation of the financial assistance for the 2007 census from the Australian government through the signing of the handover of $437,000.
At the handover, Australian High Commissioner Mr James Batley revealed that the Australian government was highly interested in the 2007 Census.
The assistance focuses on the collection of data and data entry, this is in the form of training personnel for data collection and entry, and the provision of specialist technical assistance for the enumeration process.
