A target of $200,000 is expected to be collected by the members of the Ba Provincial Council during the Adi Salusalu festival.
Adi Salusalu is an annual event where 107 villages within the province put their hands together to collect money for the benefit of their children's education.
Ba province Chairman, Reverend Meli Saukuru said the interest of the people is paramount during the festival.
The festival kicks off on the 28th to the 31st of this month.
