More than 20,000 drivers have been booked in the past seven months for traffic related offences.
Director Traffic SSP Mahesh Mishra said the actual traffic bookings are more than the vehicles running on our roads which indicates that there are drivers who continue to violate the traffic rules.
He added that they are collecting the data which will be submitted to the Land Transport Authority who will then take action against the drivers.
