Eight years on since the events of May 2000, and the compensation case filed by ousted ministers in the People's Coalition Government against George Speight, the RFMF and others is now set for hearing in the High Court.
Lawyer representing Mahendra Chaudhry and others Vipul Mishra appeared in chambers along with Speight and Timoci Silatolu.
Soon after Mishra confirmed that negotiations between all the parties broke down and now the matter will be set for hearing.
Mishra also confirmed that they have 7 days to calculate the claims for compensation to be put forward by each of his clients.
The case is adjourned till June 23rd.
