200 families affected in Navua
60 houses in Vunibau village, 70 homes in Deuba village along with houses in Sadro and Saniveiuto in Navua are also under flood waters.
The 5 evacuation centres in the Navua area are LDS church, Vashist Muni Primary, Rampur College, the Serua Provincial Council office as well as Jokhan Primary School.
Dobui added that several people are also taking shelter at evacuation centers in the Suva/Nausori corridor.
Over 140 evacuation centres have been set up in the Central and Eastern Division to cater for those families that have moved to safer areas as a result of the floods.
Meanwhile, several bridges in the Korovou and Nausori area are flooded.
These include Vuci south road, Waituri bridge, Naqali bridge, Waima bridge, Qelekuro bridge, Vatuwaqa bridge in Naitasiri, and flood waters are almost above the Korovou bridge.
A primary school in Tailevu has been flooded as strong winds and rain continues.
Lodoni Advisory member Mohammed Shameem said 5 quarters have been affected.
He said some houses in Tailevu have also been damaged and a church is completely destroyed
In Nausori, Koronivia flats are flooded and the Waila road is flooded and closed to all traffick.
Some residents in Waila have told us that several homes have been damaged by falling trees and water levels in the nearby stream continues to rise.
A family of Vuci road, Nausori, is lucky to have escaped injuries after a tree fell on their house in the last hour.
The home owner Ramen said they are trapped within their compound as the tree has blocked all access.
