The 20 year old passenger who was travelling in a car that was involved in a road accident at the Nadi back road last week has died.
The deceased was accompanying the 30 year old driver in the car which he had won in a promotion.
The 30 year old driver had lost control of the car and hit an oncoming 10 wheeler truck and died instantly.
The post-mortem examination of the 20 year old passenger will be conducted this afternoon.
The road death toll now stands at 6 compared to 8 for the same period last year.
