A 20-year-old man died after he was hit by a car in Kilikali near Nadawa.
Police say the man was trying to cross the road when he was hit by a car driven by an 18-year-old man.
The driver is in Police custody.
Meanwhile, Police are still investigating an accident where a 65-year-old man died in Tavua yesterday.
A cane truck hit the bus which the man was boarding with his grandson.
He was thrown out of the bus and died on the scene.
