Twenty seven farmers in the Lokia settlement have been given assistance by local farmer John Campbell and the Ministry of Agriculture.
Campbell said that after seeing the devastation of the flood on the low-lying areas near the Rewa River, it was only right his nursery was used to grow seedlings for the farmers.
The Ministry of Agriculture has provided Campbell with tomato and eggplant seedlings which will be grown in his nursery then transplanted by the farms.
