A 2 year old child is admitted in serious condition at the Rakiraki hospital after the car he was travelling in veered off the road and landed in a ditch yesterday.
The victim was travelling with his 19-year-old relative who also sustained serious injuries and is admitted in the hospital.
The accident took place when the 19 year old lost control of the vehicle.
Police are calling on motorists to take extra precaution on our roads during this rainy season.
