A 39 year old is in police custody after he allegedly attacked a two year old girl and a 74 year old woman in Nadi yesterday, which resulted in the death of the girl.
Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro said the elderly victim is still recovering in hospital and Police are yet to take her statement.
The motive for the attack is still unclear.
Naisoro said after speaking to the second victim, Police will be in a position to release more details.
