The Police, National Fire Authority and Fiji Electricity Authority are now carrying out investigations in relation to two separate fire incidents in Nadi and Labasa.

National Fire Authority confirmed a two bedroom corrugated iron and timber house was destroyed in a fire in Benau Labasa at around 3am this morning.

NFA said the owner is believed to have been at his sisters place and the house was vacant at the time of the incident.

Meanwhile, in another incident a four bedroom house in Nasoso Nadi was destroyed in a fire.

NFA said they received the call a little after ten last night and when fire fighters arrived at the scene the concrete house was well engulfed in flames.

NFA said the house was vacant at the time of the incident as the owner is believed to be away overseas.

Investigation continues into both fire incidents.
