The Nausori Magistrates Court has remanded the two people in custody in relation to the death of a 32yr man of Nausori on Saturday night.
Magistrate Chaitanya Lakshman has also transferred the case to Suva High court.
Koseni Sasau and Semeti Ravai are each charged with one count of abduction and one count of manslaughter.
Both were represented by Dhiren Prasad lawyers who applied for bail but was rejected by the court.
32yr old Sukul Deo's body was found on Vishnu Deo Rd, Nakasi on Saturday night.
The two allegedly abducted Deo from his house and half an hour later his body was found in Nakasi.
The case will be called on the 30th of this month in the Suva High Court.
