Two records have already fallen in the Suva Zone 1 Athletics meet currently underway at the TFL National Stadium.
The records were broken by Wainimakutu Secondary School in both the open girls and open Boys 3,000ms track event.
Lasaro Usaia broke the record in the open boy’s event with a time of 9mins 58.18secs, the old record was 10mins 25.41secs while his school mate Malaia Ranadi took Gold by breaking the record in the open Girls 3,000m with a time of 11mins and 26.02secs.

In the Boys Division, Wainimakutu have 1 Gold from the 3,000m second is Namosi High with 1 silver and Ratu Sukuna Memorial with 1 bronze.
In the Girls Division, Wainimakutu have 1 gold from the 3,000m and 1 Silver while second is Namosi High with 1 bronze.
