Two people have lost their lives following a car accident on Nakorosule Road in Vunidawa, Naitasiri yesterday afternoon.
Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirms a 32-year-old man was driving a carrier with six passengers when he allegedly lost control of the vehicle that then tumbled over.
Two farmers a 40 and 58 year old were rushed to Vunidawa Hospital but were pronounced dead on arrival.
Three passengers are currently admitted in hospital while the driver has been taken into police custody.
