2 more in custody over alleged murder
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri confirms the two were taken into custody late yesterday after Police managed to find new leads.
Meanwhile, a couple also remains in Police custody and are being questioned.
The post mortem report of the woman has revealed that she was strangled before her burnt body was found in Toorak.
It has been established that the deceased was living with her son and daughter-in-law.
Her body was discovered in a cassava patch at about 2 o'clock on Friday morning by a security officer who was guarding a nearby house.
Meanwhile, a 62 year old woman sustained serious injuries after the bus she was travelling in collided with a locomotive in Wailevu, Labasa yesterday afternoon.
The woman is admitted in the Labasa hospital.
The cause of accident is still not known as Police and the Land Transport Authority continue with their investigation.
