Two people are in custody at the Sigatoka Police Station for allegedly cultivating Marijuana.

Assistant Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the 815 plants that were uprooted from the four different farms in Navosa yesterday has a street value of more than $3.8 million.

The raids were carried out as part of operation Damudamu which started at 7am yesterday.

The two farmers are under interrogation while the hunt continues for the other's whose farms were raided.

110 plants were uprooted from a farm in Bemana, 471 from a farm in Navula, while 234 plants were uprooted from two different farms in Vatubalavu.

The team is still up in the highlands of Navosa.
