Two people are in custody at the Rakiraki Police station for allegedly robbing a family in Volivoli, yesterday.
A 21 year old woman and her 1 year old baby were sleeping when two men forcibly entered the house and tied the woman up. The owner of the house, a 25 year old fisherman was away fishing.
They then ransacked the house and stole $3,000 cash and some other items.
The woman managed to free herself and reported the matter to police.
The two were arrested yesterday and are expected to appear in the Rakiraki Magistrates court later today.
