Police are now calling on people to be careful while they are on the road following the accident in Nadi which has seen five people rushed to Hospital while another man is dead.
Police confirm the minivan was carrying five passengers and was travelling towards Malolo, when the minivan driver who was speeding, lost control and hit the railing of the Malolo bridge.
The driver died at the scene while five other were rushed to the hospital. Three passengers were treated and sent home while two others are admitted at Lautoka Hospital.
Police have urged drivers and passengers alike to take precaution while on the road, as the road death toll now stands at five compared to nine compared to last year.

Five people have been rushed to Hospital while another man is dead after an early morning accident where a minivan driver lost control and crashed into a bridge in Nadi.
Police confirmed the minivan was carrying five passengers and was travelling towards Malolo, where the minivan driver was speeding and lost control of the vehicle which then hit the railing of Malolo Bridge.
