Two people died in Wainibuka, Tailevu yesterday afternoon after the car they were in, collided head on with a grader.
According to police, the 35yr old driver together with the 20yr old passenger were coming towards Suva when the driver lost control of the vehicle and collided head on with a grader which was working on the highway.
The 20yr old passenger died instantly while the 35yr old driver who sustained serious head injuries was rushed to the CWM hospital where he passed away.
Police are calling on people to exercise precaution while using the roads.
