Two people have lost their lives on our roads following an accident in Lomawai Sigatoka yesterday evening.
Police confirmed the accident happened around 6.30pm yesterday when two vehicle heading in opposite direction collided head on.
Police said the driver of a private car heading towards Sigatoka lost control of the vehicle and veered on the opposite lane colliding with a minivan headed towards Nadi.
Two passengers of the private car died instantly while nine passengers traveling in the minivan received minor injuries.
