Two Asian businessmen will appear in the High Court today after they were charged by FICAC for allegedly trying to bribe a Permanent Secretary.

The two, Chen Xue Liang and Dechuan Zhao, allegedly tried to bribe Permanent Secretary for Finance John Prasad with a sum of $60,000 on the 28th of July this year in order to get the rights to a project in Savusavu.

FICAC has charged Liang and Zhao with one count of bribery under the Anti Bribery Promulgation.

High Court Judge Justice Salesi Temo is hearing the case in Suva today.
