Two airports remain closed in the northern and eastern division.
The Civil Aviation Director Akuila Waradi said Matei Airport in Taveuni and the airport in Vanuabalavu are yet to open.
Waradi said airstrips on Gau, Koro and Lakeba are still closed however airports including Nadi, Labasa, Nausori, and Rotuma are open. He confirmed damages to the airports infrastructure, but said it was minimal.
He said AFL currently has a team looking at the runways to see if it has been damaged before they open all airports.
