Two senior Officers from the Commerce and Communication Ministry have resumed normal duties after being sent on leave earlier after being implicated in a dispute with their Minister.

Public Service Commission Chairman, Rishi Ram confirms an investigation revealed that the two, Josua Turaganivalu and Tevita Rokobaro had acted on the instructions of their Permanent Secretary and as such the allegations against them were withdrawn.

Meanwhile, Permanent Secretary for Commerce, Amena Yauvoli remains on leave after allegedly defying a Ministerial directive to suspend the issuance of a licence to Channel Two Television.

The PSC is now trying to establish why Yauvoli allegedly defied the instructions of his line Minister, Taito Waradi.
