Nausori police have arrested two men from Vunidawa for allegedly assaulting a church pastor yesterday afternoon.
Regional Crime Officer Eastern, ASP Aca White has confirmed that the alleged incident took place after a disagreement between the pastor and the two villagers.
According to police, the pastor who belongs to the All Nations church was trying to set up a prayer meeting in the village when the two opposed the idea.
It is alleged that this led to a disagreement and the pastor was allegedly assaulted.
The two are expected to appear in the Nausori Magistrates court later today.
